Custom wig commission FAQ.
Answers about quotes, both 50% payments, production, delivery, and support.
Full refund before the Production Start Notice.
Payment & quote
Know the total and both 50% amounts before checkout.
Pricing01 Are the nine published prices totals or payment amounts?
They are order prices, including packing and standard international delivery. For U.S. orders, the quote total is the published order price plus a fixed 20% U.S. destination price component, which is part of TWC's price and not a tax or customs deposit. Your quote shows the selected order price, any specifically named adjustment, and both 50% amounts.
02 Why do I need a quote if the prices are published?
The quote confirms which price cell applies, whether your request is feasible, any specifically named order adjustment, the quote total, and both 50% amounts.
03 How do the two 50% payments work?
Pay the first 50% to open the final pre-production confirmation. Pay the remaining 50% after the finished-photo review and any feasible adjustments related to the agreed details are complete, before shipment.
04 Where do I pay each 50% amount?
The order-specific link for the first 50% arrives in your quote email. The remaining 50% link is sent separately after the photo review. This page has no fixed payment link.
05 What if my references need something the nine prices do not cover?
The nine published prices cover the standard build. If your references need an element the standard build does not include, your quote names that element before checkout.
06 How long does it take?
We do not publish an unconfirmed day count. Your quote names which schedule category applies and states the estimated production schedule for your order, confirmed again in writing before the Production Start Notice.
Pre-production
The first 50% payment is not the production boundary.
Before You Pay01 Does the first 50% payment start production?
No. We review your references, direction, timing, and feasibility before sending a payment-ready quote. The first 50% opens the final pre-production confirmation; artist work begins only after we review your form and send the Production Start Notice.
02 What is the refund boundary?
The Production Start Notice. A full refund is available any time before that notice. After it, the first 50% is generally not refundable, because materials and artist time are committed to your custom wig.
Making & photo review
Review the result within the agreed direction.
How It Works01 When do I see the finished wig, and when is the remaining 50% due?
We send finished-wig photos before requesting the balance. After your review and any feasible adjustments related to the agreed details are complete, we send the order-specific link for the remaining 50%.
02 Can I ask for adjustments after the finished photos? How far can they go?
Name the view and the agreed detail that concerns you. We complete feasible adjustments related to the agreed details, within the confirmed direction and the current stage of production, before we request the remaining 50%. Major specification changes are not available at this stage.
03 Can I change the specification while the wig is being made?
Before the Production Start Notice, ask: we review the change within what your confirmed details allow. After the notice, materials and artist time are committed, so a specification change is generally not available. Either way, ask first.
04 What happens if the remaining 50% has not been paid?
The order stays on hold and is not shipped. We ship only after the remaining payment has been received.
Delivery & customs
One order, one stated cost treatment.
Shipping & Support01 Do you accept orders outside the United States?
We welcome inquiries worldwide. For destinations outside the United States, we confirm sales and delivery availability and the applicable terms in your written quote before payment.
02 Is delivery included in the published price?
Yes. Packing and standard international delivery are included. We confirm sales and delivery availability for your destination in writing before payment.
03 Are import duties and customs fees included?
For U.S. orders, the quote total is the published order price plus a fixed 20% U.S. destination price component. That component is part of TWC's price, not a tax, customs deposit or insurance, and it is not adjusted after shipment. Separately, TWC handles ordinary U.S. import duties and customs processing for your order and does not bill you for them afterwards. For destinations outside the United States, customs duties, import taxes and destination handling fees are paid by the recipient.
04 Is the remaining 50% a customs or import charge?
No. It is the second half of your quote total. For U.S. orders, that total includes the fixed 20% U.S. destination price component. For other destinations, import charges are paid separately by the recipient.
05 How is the finished wig packed?
On a mannequin head, to help protect its shape in transit. That reduces avoidable movement; it is not a promise of zero shipping damage.
Support
Ask before the next boundary.
01 How can I ask a question before paying?
Email the customer support team at cs@tokyo-wig-create.com if any quote, production, or customs detail is unclear before checkout.
02 How do I care for the wig after it arrives?
We answer care questions for your specific piece rather than publishing one routine. Email customer support if you are unsure how to wash, restyle, or store it.
