We Created Official Wigs for the AnimeJapan 2025 Official Cosplayers!

Hello everyone!

We are excited to share that WIGCUT was in charge of creating the official wigs for KADOKAWA's "New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT" Greeting Event, held at AnimeJapan 2025 on March 22nd at Tokyo Big Sight.

For this event, we crafted wigs for the two main characters, Panty and Stocking.
Panty was portrayed by Nekonome, and Stocking was portrayed by Chocolat.

Wig Production & On-Site Support

On the day of the event, two members from our wig team were on-site to complete the final touches, including fitting, adjusting the wig around the face, and checking the balance with the costume. We fully supported the cosplayers to ensure they could deliver their best performance.

The cosplayers themselves were also fully dedicated, practicing character-like movements and expressions right up until the greeting started, creating a highly professional atmosphere.

Our Wig Highlights

We paid close attention to faithfully recreating the charm and unique features of each character through the wigs.

Stocking

For Stocking, we carefully reproduced key elements such as:

• The signature two-tone bangs

• Precise straight-cut bangs just above the eyes

• Super straight long hair

• Inner colors

• Gradient tips

All the details were meticulously crafted to bring out the character’s iconic look.

Panty

For Panty, we focused on:

• The sharpness of the ends, which change impression depending on movement

• The three-dimensional look around the face

• The new anime’s pink gradient at the tips was faithfully reproduced

• Large flicked-out sections and a more voluminous, dynamic silhouette compared to Stocking

All of these were incorporated into the wig to reflect Panty’s energetic style.

Event Highlights

When the cosplayers combined their costumes and wigs, they looked like they had stepped right out of the anime!
The quality of their costumes was outstanding, attracting many attendees who stopped to take photos and enjoy the greeting.

We will continue to dedicate ourselves to crafting wigs that bring out the charm of both characters and works, as well as supporting cosplayers at events.
